Imperial Eagle Recovery

Recently one Imperial Eagle was recovered from Sardarshahr, Rajasthan with Russian ring Moskva AB 605. This Imperial Eagle was ringed by Alexey Karpov on 2 July 2013 on the nest in the Ust-Kan valley of the Altai Republic (Russia). The route map Distance – 2 654 km, azimuth – 203 degrees, duration – 580 days.


Harkirat Sangha was actively involved in caring for the sick eagle. Fortunately, it recovered after two weeks and was released at Tal Chhapar, Rajasthan on 16 March 2016.
