Raptor Research & Conservation Foundation
We have a Grants programme every year to encourage and support studies of raptors in India.
Each grant amount is limited to Rs. 2,50,000 for projects of one year duration.
We have a Questionnaire that needs to be filled up completely. Keep your focus on achievable objectives i.e., do not have too many which you are unable to fulfil with clear-cut methodology and realistic time frame. Highlight conservation impact. Our preference is for ORIGINAL robust, science-based studies instead of project proposals that are of a general ‘status survey’ type.
Please provide your c.v. and if there are other senior members of your team then provide their c.v.’s too.
If an institution is seeking a grant then please provide registration details under the Income Tax Act.
Please ensure your references (from the scientific community, wildlife institutions or university departments) are available and they can vouch for your professional work. We may ask you to provide additional references if required.
Grants are provided mainly for field work and not for attending conferences/workshops, and equipment with high capital cost. If your budget includes substantial amount of equipment you will need to provide strong justification for the same.
Please note grants are given in a phased manner so your budget must be tailored accordingly. We expect a proper and orderly accounts system to be maintained for the project and utilisation certificate to be submitted wherever possible.
Please note tax (TDS) as applicable will deducted as per Indian Income Tax laws.
REQUESTS FOR GRANTS OF LONGER DURATION WITH HIGHER BUDGET WILL ALSO BE CONSIDERED.
