Raptor Research & Conservation Foundation
We have a Grants programme every year to encourage and support studies of raptors in India.
Each grant amount is around Rs. 2,50,000 for projects of one year duration.
We have a Questionnaire that needs to be filled up completely. Keep your focus on achievable objectives i.e., do not have too many which you are unable to fulfil with, clear-cut methodology and realistic time frame. Highlight conservation impact. Our preference is for ORIGINAL robust, science-based studies instead of project proposals that are of a general ‘status survey’ type.
Please provide your c.v. and if there are other senior members of your team then provide their c.v.’s along with PAN numbers too.
If an institution is seeking a grant then please provide all registration details under the Income Tax Act.
Please ensure your references (from the scientific community, wildlife institutions or university departments) are available and they can vouch for your professional work. We may ask you to provide additional references if required.
Grants are provided mainly for field work and not for attending conferences/workshops, nor for purchase of equipment with high capital cost. If your budget includes substantial amount of equipment you will need to provide strong justification for the same.
Please note you will be signing a contract with RRCF and that grants will be given in a phased manner so your budget must be tailored accordingly. We expect a proper and orderly accounts system to be maintained by you for the project and a utilisation certificate from a accredited chartered accountant to be submitted wherever possible.
Please note 10 per cent tax (TDS) is applicable on our grants and will deducted as per Indian Income Tax laws.
REQUESTS FOR GRANTS OF LONGER DURATION WITH HIGHER BUDGET WILL ALSO BE CONSIDERED.
We accept project proposals all the year round.
